Avene skin care

Combatting the cold weather has become my number one obssession these days. Dry skin on my face (and I thought I had oily complexion), even drier on my hands and never mind the legs!...something had to be done. I went to IU store and got an arsenal of Avene products - Avene TriXera cleaning gel, 400 ml, 16 EUR, no perfume, no parabens. Repair cream for dry skin Cicalfate, 40 ml, 10 EUR. Cold cream, hand cream, 75 ml, 7 EUR.

I have to say, my skin has calmed down since I started using these products, it is still early to be completely raving about them, but they surely help!

iU skincare/wellbeing shops in Brussels

I can not come up with any explanation as to why I was ignoring these shops up until now, but I have a feeling it is going to change soon :-). There are 5 iU magasins in Brussels (and 23 overall in Belgium), pretty much at every big shopping center - Basilix, City 2, Woluwe shopping, Westland shopping, Galerie Louise.

They are selling primarily pharmaceutical cosmetics, which sounds great (until you read a book by Paula Begoun), but you will find here many of the well-established skin-care brands, with a nice and informed personnel:
