Sleek makeup - Oh so special palette

I could be probably the last blogger on earth to get Sleek makeup palette, my hesitation was that I already have more eyeshadows than I could possibly ever need (but even this statement depends on my mood, haha). Sleek eyeshadows and blushes have reached a cult status for a good reason, excellent pigmentation, easy blending and a low price. Wishlist - Maybelline Colour Tattoo eyeshadows

It's been a while since I really had any real craving for makeup (OK, maybe not so long...), but I am very curious about these new Maybelline Color Tattoo cream eyeshadows, that have been compared to MAC's paint pots...They sell for 7 USD in the States, wonder what the price would be here in Europe, if EVER they decide to launch them here...sigh. 10 shades, raving reviews...let's start praying for a miracle ;-)

 

Wet 'n' Wild 738 Comfort Zone Eyeshadow Palette

Yet another cult product has made it to my makeup collection - thank you so much Janka again! :-) A fresh delivery from the USA, the insanely pigmented Wet 'n' Wild 738 Comfort Zone Eyeshadow Palette.
8,5 g., I think it is around 5 USD. What a bargain!

 

 

 

They give you "A stunning collection of 8 silky, ultra-pigmented day-to-night colors. Mix-and-match for a variety of looks from sweet to wild!"

I can confirm that the eyeshadows are silky smooth, extremely soft with a pleasant texture. If you can get on paws on it, definitely do! :0 So much has been written about this palette, check this out.

My longlasting eyeshadows collection

Just a stash of my longlasting cream eyeshadows, which I often use as a base. If I had to choose the absolute favs it would be - hands down - Essence Ballerina backstage eye soufflé 01 in dance the swan lake (I will even go as far and say that it is actually better than NYX milk when you use it as a base for your eyeshadows) and Catrice 060 Jennifer's Goldrush - shimmery greenish golden colour that just works perfectly with Urban Decay Naked Palette, esp. with half baked, smog and darkhorse.

Catrice Made to Stay Longlasting Eyeshadow in 010 and 040

Two recent additions to my collection of creamy eyeshadows - 040 Lord of the Blings and 010 Pearly Habour. I actually prefer the first one, as it has a great light cool-toned golden colour...

 

Catrice Made to Stay Longlasting Eyeshadow in 060 and 020

I was absolutely blown away by Essence Ballerina Backstage Eye Soufflés in 01 dance the swan lake and 02 pas des copper, so I was eager try the longlasting eyeshadows by Catrice. There are 6 shades on offer. Eventually I decided to go for 020 Jennifer's Rush and 060 Romans Gone Bad (Kruidvat, 2,79 EUR each).

 

 

The pigmentation is strong, when you apply them (always use a primer first) they dry to a satin finish. I use them as a base for other eyeshadows but you can surely wear them on their own, they are really pretty, metallic and dramatic :-).
