Rimmel PRO in 323 RIVIERA RED

If you are looking for a nail polish with maximum wear, why don't you try Rimmel PRO collection. I applied it before I went on holiday to sunny Mallorca and it lasted for the entire trip and it survived the sea, sand and the sun and honestly, you can't ask for more from a nail polish :-). And a tip, buy them in Germany, if possible, there they cost 3,50 EUR, here they are 6,99 EUR (Kruidvat).

P2 pearl crack ling top coats - a closer look

P2 crackle polishes are a no-brainer, they are cheap and they work, end of story. Hurrah for p2! :-)

P2 pearl crack ling top coats

P2 has enriched their crackle nail polish collection by three beautiful colours: 010 violet fusion (violet-golden shimmer), 020 blue thunder (blue-silver shimmer) and 030 red volcano (reddish-rusty shimmer) in addition to 010 black explosion, 020 silver blast, 030 golden rush. They are all 1,75 EUR and only availble in Germany, DM.

Essence colour & go nail polish in 78 blue addicted

Essence is blowing my mind every time with their nail polish collection and here is the recent addition, no 78 blue addicted. It has both shimmer and glitter and it is just so dreamy, like the starry night...romantic, hey :-). DM, 1,25 EUR, 5 ml. I applied at first two coats, but it only shows up nicely with at least 3.

Two coats and the flash shows how see-through the polish is.

Catrice Ultimate NailLaquer in 550 Marilyn & Me

Even though this colour is named after the iconic Marilyn, it was another beloved girl that I thought of when I saw it - Dorothy in Wizzard of Oz and her sparkly red shoes...absolutely fascinating shade...enter the fairyland :-P

Catrice 030 Meet Me At Coral Island vs Essence 067 Just Shout!

Apparently, I am on the coral wave at the moment, so after a coral lipgloss and a lipstick, the most natural complement a coral nail polish. I knew Catrice had one called 030 Meet Me AT Coral Island (2,49 EUR, 10 ml, Kruidvat). However, once I saw it in real life I found it a bit too rosy to be really called coral. (the best coral colour for me is by Rimmel 430 Coralicious, 8 ml, cca 5 EUR, Kruidvat).
It is good to have friends and Zuzka found a super shade within Essence multi dimension XXXL shine range (67 just shout!, 8 ml, 1,75 EUR, Kruidvat). I love this one, it is a very vivid coral colour, it needs really only one layer (but I always put two anyway). It takes a short time to dry and it lasts up to 3-4 days.

My nail polish collection

This was a spur of the moment idea for a post, so bear with me :-)
In my experience, the best varnishes are by Manhattan, Rimmel, Catrice, Essence, p2. The worst and totally not worth buying is HEMA, Claire's colour polishes, Dermacol.

P2 crack ling top coat 010 black explosion

It is my pleasure to report that P2 crack ling black top coat is equally effective as its silver and gold variants! At the price of 1,75 EUR, there is not much to think about...LOVE!
I applied it over one layer of Essence What do you think? nail varnish and I was really happy with the result.
And the other hand:
Here you can compare it with Claire's crackle nail polish, see how different the patterns are?

And the final picture is the confirmation of just how great P2 crack ling top coats are:

Catrice nail polish - 050 Moulin rouge light

I was very curious about this nail polish, as I used to wear the classic French manicure a lot (when my nails were still growing, ehm). If you are looking for a soft, sophisticated, uncomplicated look, why not try this one? Catrice cosmetics offers a whole range of their nude shades, take your pick!

One layer was pretty thick (which is really typical for all Catrice nail polishes) but I applied two to get higher coverage.

Catrice 490 Iron Mermaiden with crackle top coats

So, today is the day, and crackle is the word! I finally tested this lovely nail varnish together with all the crackle top coats that I have: Claire's, P2 crackling top coat in 030 golden rush and 020 silver blast.
I really like all of them, I even gave it a long thought as to which one I actually preferred, but I simply could not choose! I guess they are all just pretty and it also depends on what effect you want to achieve and what you are wearing...
