Essence I love stage - eyeshadow base
The one thing you should have in your makeup collection is an eyeshadow base. 2,49 EUR, Kruidvat, 4 ml or 0.13 fl. oz. Essence says that it can either be used as a base for concealer or eyeshadow. the creamy texture won’t settle in the crease of your eyelid - it makes every eyeshadow last longer and intensifies the color. I tested it when I went biking, it kept the eyeshadows beautifully and guess what, it also survived the ultimate test, an all day office wear.
The reason I bought this base is its light beige colour, as my favourite HEMA eyeshadow base leaves a slightly white shimmery trace (great for shimmery eye looks). This base is fantastic as it actually helps conceal any discoloration in your eye lids. Worth snapping up!

Newspaper nail art
How cool is this? All you need: newspapers, rubbing alcohol and a couple of nail polishes...
My longlasting eyeshadows collection
Just a stash of my longlasting cream eyeshadows, which I often use as a base. If I had to choose the absolute favs it would be - hands down - Essence Ballerina backstage eye soufflé 01 in dance the swan lake (I will even go as far and say that it is actually better than NYX milk when you use it as a base for your eyeshadows) and Catrice 060 Jennifer's Goldrush - shimmery greenish golden colour that just works perfectly with Urban Decay Naked Palette, esp. with half baked, smog and darkhorse.
Top row: Essence 01 dance the swan lake, Catrice 010 Pearly Harbour, 020 Romans Gone Bad, bottom row: Essence 02 pas de copper, Catrice 040 Lord of the Blings and lastly 060 Jennifer's Goldrush |

Catrice Made to Stay Longlasting Eyeshadow in 010 and 040
Two recent additions to my collection of creamy eyeshadows - 040 Lord of the Blings and 010 Pearly Habour. I actually prefer the first one, as it has a great light cool-toned golden colour...
W7 Africa Multi Bronzing Face Powder at New Look
Being ever so fascinated by the cute packaging of Benefit products, I could not resist getting a much cheaper copy - W7 Africa Multi Bronzing Face Powder that is only available at New Look (Anspach). It costs 4,99 EUR for 8 g, it is very pigmented, so work with a light hand :-). Luckily, it has no smell. No shimmer, just a nice sheen, but beware, the colour is quite dark.
