Catrice 030 Meet Me At Coral Island vs Essence 067 Just Shout!

Apparently, I am on the coral wave at the moment, so after a coral lipgloss and a lipstick, the most natural complement a coral nail polish. I knew Catrice had one called 030 Meet Me AT Coral Island (2,49 EUR, 10 ml, Kruidvat). However, once I saw it in real life I found it a bit too rosy to be really called coral. (the best coral colour for me is by Rimmel 430 Coralicious, 8 ml, cca 5 EUR, Kruidvat).
It is good to have friends and Zuzka found a super shade within Essence multi dimension XXXL shine range (67 just shout!, 8 ml, 1,75 EUR, Kruidvat). I love this one, it is a very vivid coral colour, it needs really only one layer (but I always put two anyway). It takes a short time to dry and it lasts up to 3-4 days.

p2 Perfect Face! Make Up Base - 020 correct me! review

The good performance of the 010 illuminate me! base made me quite curious about the other base by p2. (3,99 EUR, DM Germany, 30 ml).

It is supposed to neutralize the redness and to give you a healthy glow (beware, tiny spectra-flex pigments are featured). They suggest that you can use it alone, I say you'd better not! The problem is that the base somehow leaves you with a wash of green colour, no matter how hard you try to blend it into your face (basically, it left my pores filled with green substance). Moreover, it is not very effective for blocking the excess shine, which is something I look for in a base. I would not repurchase this product and I am now left wondering what I am going to do with it...

p2 Perfect Face! Make Up Base - 010 illuminate me! review

This makeup base claims to give you radiant, glowing complexion, that can be used alone or under foundation. I would use it alone only if you have impeccable skin, which is hardly anyones case. However, it does prepare a nice canvas for makeup application, and it is rather "glowy" so beware if you do not like a dewy look.

It blends easily into the skin, leaving it nicely moisturized. It does not fill in the pores (the only base to do that on my skin is L'Oreal). It works for me and I will repurchase it. I got it from Germany, it cost 3,99 EUR. 30 ml.

NYC at Kruidvat Belgium

Ladies, it has finally happened, they are starting to place NYC cosmetics into our own, Belgian branches of Kruidvat (probably not all, so we have to find out ourselves). To promote the brand, they launched this commercial:

I have plenty of makeup purchases I hate, no hesitation about exchanging any of those...:-) You do need to download a "bon" from their website, and off you go to the shop. The offer is valid from today, 13. 6. until Sunday, 19.06. Hurry up!

If you struggle as to which product to choose, here is my favourite makeup guru, Emily Noel, spelling it out for us all :-).

My eye pencils collection

My favourite brands for eyeliner pencils are Bourjois and Rimmel, they never let me down.

Catrice Kajal designer

Eyeliner pencils give you a perfect eye definition, enabling you to change and/or enhance the shape of your eyes. As such, they have been loved since ancient times (think Cleopatra) throughout the modern times (guyliner is such a hit!).
I was looking for a dark grey shade and I found one within Catrice cosmetics range. (070 cool grey). What I like about this eyeliner is that it is soft enough to transfer the colour yet has a reasonable staying power and also the sponge tip for optional smudging. The price is 2,49 EUR at Kruidvat.
